MOAC Teacher and Artist Ms. Germany
Ms. Germany "Lest We Forget"

"Lest We Forget" by artist and MOAC teacher Courtney Germany is officially open at Eastside park in Hattiesburg!

Pictured with Ms Germany in the first picture is MOAC teacher Andrea Brown, MOAC graduate and USM student Keylen Walker, and MOAC principal Otonya Gray Walker.

The East Jerusalem/Newman community of Hattiesburg was a vibrant hub of commerce and education from the 1950s through the 1970s. Though the area experienced a period of decline, it is now enjoying an exciting resurgence due to infrastructure projects reconnecting the neighborhood with increased traffic and renewed energy.
